"Cast well, Swim Well Catch well" was the concept when lure master designer Hiroshi Nishine created the CHIPPAWA crankbait.
What immediately stands out about this Deep Diving crank bait is the willow blade that is attached to the front hook ring.
On sunny days, the reflection of light will provide an extra stimulus. Furthermore, the blade taps subtly against the rear treble, so that the crank bait also makes some sound when it moves trough the water column.
The diving lip has a narrow shape with a rounded front, which makes the CHIPPAWA less likely to get stuck. Ideal for the somewhat "dirtier" venues and marks.
Retrieving the CHIPPAWA slowly results in a subtle wobble and retrieving quickly results in a wider wobble.
